The Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Albany, NY: There were a number of challenges that we were faced with for the construction of this particular building. The proximity to the two structures we were building between, as well as the sensitivity of the daily processes within those buildings, made forming, reinforcing, and placing the over 1,500 cubic yards of elevated concrete columns and waffle slabs a demanding task. AJS Masonry, Inc. and our subcontractors were well-equipped and experienced to rise to the occasion to meet the budget and schedule for this high profile endeavor.
